What we do
Tiles can be the best solution for your kitchen or bathroom. With an easy-to-clean surface, excellent sealing qualities and the ability to give a room an amazing finish, they earn their place. The PEARLS AND DROPS LTD team can supply and fit both floor tiles and wall tiles for your property renovation.
Most tiling problems come from what is underneath, not from the tiles themselves. We level, prime and (where a shower or wet room needs it) tank the surface before a single tile goes on, so the finished job stays put and stays watertight.
What is included
Tiling we take on
- Bathrooms and wet rooms
Full wall and floor tiling, with tanking where water protection is needed.
- Kitchens
Splashbacks, full walls and hard-wearing floor tiling around units and appliances.
- All tile types
Ceramic, porcelain, natural stone, mosaic and large-format tiles.
- Proper preparation
Levelling compounds, backer boards, priming and tanking before tiling.
- Grout, silicone and trims
Neat grout lines, clean silicone and the right edge trims to finish.
- Strip out
Old tiles removed and the surface made good, ready for the new ones.

Tiling: common questions
We can, or you are welcome to buy your own. If you are choosing them yourself, tell us the size and type before you order and we will let you know if anything about the room needs thinking about first.
As a rule of thumb, allow around 10% over the measured area for cuts and breakages, a little more for diagonal patterns or large-format tiles.
Sometimes it is possible, but it is rarely the best answer. We will look at what is there and give you an honest recommendation.
